I don’t really like the idea of putting our baby in day care. Am i over protective or what. But with the current couple job scenario, it’s inevitable.
I didn’t put my daughter to a daycare for long because I had to take her here in Dubai. She was mostly left with nannies and I felt bad for that. I made up for it by teaching her stuff she would have known from creche or day care.
I can totally relate Ms. Ria. At times, I would think to myself if only I am rich that I don’t have to work just to feed my family, and I’d devote all my time to my kids especially during their formative years.

I have two children but never left them to a day care. I stayed home (still am) while they are still young.
Good for you. Working parents like me have to deal with a lot of things like your child getting sick often, cleanliness, packaging their things day in and day out.
i remember a friend who also called his son terrible ..sometimes she can’t help herself but cry coz the kid was really terrible..daycare might be the solution!
Some kids are difficult some are easy, it depends on the child’s personality. They are not born tabula rasa. They are born with personalities. Each kid goes through developmental tasks at varying rate. It is the task of parents to be always there to help them complete these tasks, which could be difficult for parents.
