In business, collaboration is an important marketing strategy for companies to stay afloat and become more profitable. By joining forces with other companies they make more money that they would working alone. However in the collaboration process, there are steps and protocols to follow. So far, these are the negotiations we’ve covered.

Now, negotiation step 3 is COUNTERING POSITION.

During the collaboration, companies may have different views, needs, or take on things. In this conversation Mike, who is affiliated with Sigma (US) is negotiating with Lisa (NVP representative, Asia) for a partnership.
