Freedom and Control is Possible with Kidsemail

Responsible freedom is what kidsemail is.

Today, it is just nearly impossible to not let kids get their hands on technology. The more they are prohibited the more curious they become. If this brings them positive results well and good, but if it swings them on the flip side of the coin, well it spells trouble. And we all have seen unimaginable things happen and are still happening if we let down our guards. Of course, this is something we all don’t want. So be on the guard all the time.
Yet you don’t want to tighten your grip that much, as sand trickles through your fingers as you squeeze on it too tightly.

Kidsemail is just the right mixture of freedom and control. It is a great way to let children have a taste of freedom in using technology and interact with friends through email, while parents gradually instill in them necessary values and attitude to keep them safe in this time of the internet.

Kidsemail safeguards children and teens from unwanted elements that parents dread so much. It is the most kid-friendly website in the entire internetland. One of the features which I love immensely is the parental control, with it parents are able to manage contacts, filter offensive words, and approve or deny emails sent to your children. Emails notifying parents of incoming and outgoing emails are sent directly to parent’s email. It can be used on relatively all devices as it’s supported by iOS, Android, and Web platforms.

For more details about its amazing features read HERE, and HERE on how to register for FREE on your first month.

Now, here’s a time lapse of Summer sending an email to her Aunt in Dubai. She had previously written the letter on her diary.

I encourage parents and schools to avail of kidsemail. It is parents’ greatest partner in keeping children from harms way, and an excellent tool for schools especially that some teachers give homework, other activities, and communication online.

KidsEmail Review and Giveaway: Safe Communication

kids 2

Communication is as essential as all other family matters and issues.  With the advancement of technology, communication has become easy, inexpensive, and definitely accessible by virtually everyone.  Along with this, are dangers of all sort lurking in every corners of the internet.  But it has become part of the household, and not hooking up seems impossible…. most especially the teens and even the children.

The next best thing we parents can do is to make sure our children are safe.

Among the amazing, dynamic, and significant features of KidsEmail which I mentioned in my previous review, these are the ultimate important ones.  First, these are the primary reasons why parents should get their children KidsEmail.  Second, these are effective ways to insure kids safety and security in the internet, except if you prohibit your children from using it which is quite difficult to implement nowadays.  Third, these features are not offered in mainstream email providers. Sure they are free, but as parents there are things that we should not compromise because doing so could mean risk and danger, and of course that’s the last thing we want.

Here are 5 features parents should look for in any email for kids.

  • Mail Monitoring.  KidsEmail provides parents an excellent way to supervise their child’s email correspondence.  This enables parents to have a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails sent to or from your child’s KidsEmail account.  This can be enabled/disabled anytime.
  • Mail queue.  This feature allows parents to intercept emails that failed the safety rules you have set. You can then approve or deny and remove the email from the mail queue.
  • Remove links and images, control attachment types, offensive word filter, and spam filtering are some of the safety parameters parents could enable to assure their child’s safety.
  • Block senders. If you allow your child to receive emails to anyone, you can still block specific people by adding then to a custom blacklist.
  • No ads.  Kidsemail does not offer advertising, so children will never see anything inappropriate.

Our children’s safety should come first.  It is better to wrapped them up in cotton wool than be sorry later.

KidsEmail Review: Protect Your Child

As the internet becomes an essential part at work and the household, the safety and security of children are put on the line.  Young children to teenagers are hooked up in the internet.  May it be for school use or just to go with the trend, the truth of the matter is that, the internet is as alluring to children as it is to grown ups. It, being an open source of virtually everything under the sun, puts children in great danger.  We’ve all read of horrible stories about children missing, molested, raped, kidnapped, or subject to sex trafficking directly or indirectly involving internet use.  Aside from these, obscene videos, photos, other graphic materials, and inappropriate words are all over the internet which are all total nightmares to parents.

The dilemma is; how will you keep your child safe from all of these, in this internet-necessitated times?

Actually there are more work to be done on this matter.  However, there are websites that are absolutely child-friendly, safe and sheer heaven-sent for parents.  One of these is Email for Kids, which I straight out love and strongly recommend to parents.  Let me talk you through its fantastic features.

First off, you have to get yourself and your child an account which will only take a jiffy.

REGISTRATION

Go to www.kidsemail.org to create an account, which is as easy as 1-2-3. Make sure you enter a valid email for the necessary instructions to activate your account. After your account is activated, you will be taken to the Parental Control Panel where you can add the accounts for your children.

ADDING CHILDREN

Adding Children is very easy. One of the cool features of Kids Email is that it can actually grow with your child. There is a simple option for you to have a standard child account which will give your child an @kidsemail.org address, or there is an option for an older child that will have an e-mail of @kmail.org with an older look and feel. This is a great tool that allows your kids to keep their email address even through pre-teen and teen years. This is a setting that can be switched at any time.

The best part is the Parental Control. You will definitely have full control of the accounts!  Now, I know this might cause some privacy issue for some, but a child’s safety should always outweighs any other issues.

So, what are its great features?
