But now, it is as easy as one click. Here are free worksheets and printables.  I hope these will help you in your quest to educate your students.Topic

LIVING AND NON-LIVING THINGS

Science for the modern learners

Young people nowadays are very much different from the youngsters of yesterday.  Now, they are immersed in an environment full of modern innovations.  From the moment they open their eyes to the time they hit the sack, technology is a constant company.
Before, the library,  one of the few places where we can find real facts and figures and trusted informations can only be accessed by physically going to the library. With the advent of the internet, people began surfing the net with their PC’s. Access to all these informations became convenient. Access to all these informations come in different forms. During the late 90’s PC’s and Laptops were the most common tools used. Now, with the modern technologies coming out, tools for accessing the internet has come in different forms and sizes.  It has been expanded and intensified.  It has morphed into smaller forms, but a million times more powerful and influential.  It has morphed into ipads, android phones, laptops, netbooks, and tablets. The internet is indeed powerful, inspiring, and captivating people from the young to the young-at-heart. It is no longer dependent on the number of books found in the library.  Information is limitless.  It has probably even surpassed the “sky is the limit”  demarcation.  Thanks to the internet.
Indeed, change is the only thing permanent in this world.  With change, adaptation should follow.  Otherwise, you will be left behind and eventually become extinct.
In education, change is an utmost importance. Our present learning strategies must be fitted to the needs of our students.  The conventional methods of teaching should still be taught to (TEI’s) Teacher  Education Institutions though, and should not be thrown out of the window.  They should serve as foundations from which we will anchor our innovative modifications.
We either make or break lives. Let me share with you a video about how important our role is as a teacher (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Waj0lPW14qk&feature=related).   The change is easy said than done, but we have no choice but to go for it if we want to make sure that our students will learn from us.  Oftentimes when faced with classroom management issues, teachers would resort to comparing today with what was before. Teachers get frustrated because “they (students) just don’t listen at all”, “they are so noisy”, “they don’t know how to memorise” they……… Yes, all of these are happening in our classroom.  This is reality.  It’s time to cut the crap and stop wasting our time and straining our emotions with all of these “they are these and that..”, “we weren’t like this…” attitude.
The internet has numerous informations with just about anything.  Here are list of websites that we can use to better understand our students, and ways we can use to cater for their needs.
